CROWN CLIP Sockets

Description

CROWN CLIP sockets are compact, high-current socket connectors designed for bus bar power distribution. Rated up to 350 Amps, the socket connector utilizes ELCON CROWN BAND technology, features true hot-pluggablity and a float mount design to ease the bus bar insertion forces.
CROWN CLIP sockets can mate with solid or laminated blades, and are offered in 3 different versions. The original CROWN CLIP socket is the single pole solution, the CROWN CLIP II socket is a dual pole design and the Dual CROWN CLIP socket features an advanced dual pole, feed through socket. The dual pole design not only allows for 350 Amps of current, it also allows mating to a two pole laminated bus bar or double sided pcb tab providing design flexibility. The feed through design allows insertion of mating a blade from the top and bottom sockets.
